Who We Are

Drs. Jesse and Saleha Ritter embarked on their “tongue tie journey” soon after they had their first son, Ryan, in 2015. After a rocky start with breastfeeding, they sought the help of a lactation consultant who found a tongue tie. It was from that moment on that they decided to learn more about tongue and lip ties and how they have a huge impact on an individuals health and lifestyle.

Dr. Jesse grew up in Selinsgrove, PA. He went to Penn State University and then went on to attend the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD) located in downtown Baltimore. He completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at York Hospital in York, PA. He has taken thousands of hours of CE in cosmetics, TMJ diseases, full mouth reconstructions, airway dentistry and tongue tie releases. Dr. Jesse Ritter purchased his practice in 2012.

Dr. Saleha or “Dr. Sal” grew up in Parkton, MD and went to the University of Maryland for her undergraduate education. She also attended UMSOD where she met her husband Jesse. Dr. Sal completed her GPR at Sacred Heart Hospital located in Allentwon, PA. She practiced in York, PA as an associate dentist until 2018, when she joined Dr. Jesse Ritter at his practice.

Drs. Jesse and Sal got married in 2012. They have 3 kids - Ryan, Zara and Elon. Now they live in Monkton, MD and are “enjoying” parenthood. They both love the outdoors, traveling and cooking. But if you really want to know what they’re into - Dr. Jesse is OBSESSED with Crypto and Penn State football (you can literally hear him screaming at the tv freaking his kids out) and Dr. Saleha loves reading books on her kindle, while drinking a hot cup of coffee and donning her fuzzy robe and slippers.
